What is Single Stop?
Here at VHCC, we love seeing our students succeed! That’s why we’ve partnered with Single Stop to meet your needs outside the class room. We want you to have the knowledge you need about resources the community and college offer to help you be successful during your college journey.
Single Stop is a free tool available to ALL current VHCC students! This tool can be used by students who attend full-time, part-time, online or on campus. We invite ALL students to use this online screening tool to identify helpful resources and benefits that may help provide household support while they are on their college journey.

- Assistance with housing
- Medical insurance
- Tax preparation
- Low cost internet services
- Assistance with electrical expenses
- Current address
- Working phone number
- Names of all people and incomes in the household
- Other information to assist with determining eligibility
